How Campus Started

I was sitting at my laptop at 2 AM, staring at a scholarship application form written in formal bureaucratic language that made zero sense. The official website had 47 pages of guidelines. The embassy hotline had been “busy” for three days. And I was wondering: Why is this so unnecessarily complicated?

Sound familiar?

That frustration became Campus.

I realized I wasn’t alone. Thousands of students in India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Philippines, Kenya, Bangladesh, and beyond were facing the same confusing mess. Scholarship information was:

• Scattered across outdated websites
• Written in impossible jargon
• Contradictory (one source says X, another says Y)
• Missing the stuff that actually matters

So I started documenting my journey. What I learned. What I wished I’d known. What worked. What didn’t.

Then something unexpected happened.

People started reaching out. “This actually helped me.” “Can you explain this scholarship?” “I got accepted, thank you!”

That’s when Campus became bigger than just my story.

No VC funding. No sales targets. No pressure to sell you stuff you don’t need.

Just me (and growing team of contributors) who genuinely want to help.

2. We Interview Real Students

Every story on Campus comes from actual scholarship winners. We don’t make stuff up or copy-paste from other blogs.

We talk to students. Record their experiences. Share their honest advice—including the hard parts.

3. We Update When Things Change

Scholarship requirements change every year. We update our guides. If we don’t know something, we say so.

4. We’re Free (Mostly)

All our scholarship guides, student stories, and resources are free forever.

We offer optional paid services (like document reviews) for those who want personalized help. That revenue helps us keep the site running and create more free content.

No paywalls on critical scholarship information. Ever.
